Woven Hearts

Woven Hearts Women’s Recovery Group answers the call of Isaiah to bind up the broken hearted, comfort those who mourn, and set the captives free, bestowing unto them a crown of beauty for ashes.

Through a continuing rotation of some of the most life changing books available, this women’s recovery group provides an ideal setting for ladies to deepen their relationship with Christ and find healing. Women are encouraged to join at any time and will benefit from having a copy of the current book, if they choose.

The books that are covered in this group are:

• Captivating by John and Stasi Eldredge, teaches women how they are uniquely made in the image of God; nurturing, loving and deeply relational

• Addictive Behavior by Ed T. Welch and Gary Steven Shorgren, teaches the aspect of addiction as a form of idolatry and how we can transfer our dependency from our addictive behavior unto God

• Boundaries by Dr. Henry Cloud and Dr. John Townsend, encourages the development and reinforcement of healthy boundaries in difficult relationships

• Made to Crave by Lysa Terkeurst, helps us identify and break the unhealthy patterns of emotional eating
